It feels really good to be writing this update. Brooled.co.uk has officially reached its second milestone, and while there’s still plenty of work left to do, I can honestly say things are really starting to take shape.
This project has been a long journey—full of late nights, small victories, and those moments where the to-do list feels endless. But here we are, and I wanted to share where things stand, what’s new, what’s still in progress, and what’s around the corner.
So grab a cup of tea (or coffee, or maybe even something stronger if you’re reading this in the evening!) and let’s go through everything together.
The Website Design: Almost There
Let’s start with the obvious: the website design.
When I first started building Brooled.co.uk, I had a very clear picture in my head of how I wanted it to look and feel. Clean, professional, but still inviting—something that felt like it belonged in 2025, not stuck in the early 2000s!
I’m happy to say that the design is now pretty much finished. You can visit the site today and see a structure that’s basically done. Pages flow nicely, menus make sense, the visuals feel consistent. It finally looks like a “real” website and not just a construction project.
Now, I won’t pretend everything is perfect. There are still a few little things missing—some bits of content here, a couple of tweaks there—but nothing major. It’s a bit like moving into a new house: the furniture is in, the walls are painted, but you’re still deciding where to hang the pictures.
And honestly? That’s the fun part.
The Store: Now Open!
This is one of the things I’m most excited about: the Brooled.co.uk Store is live! 🎉
It feels like such a huge step forward to go from a website that just tells you about what we do to one where you can actually buy products directly. You can now browse a selection of items in the store, place orders, and start to see what Brooled is really about.
It’s still early days for the shop—I’ll be adding more products over time—but the foundations are there, and it works. And trust me, hitting that “first sale” notification is one of the best feelings in the world.
This is a big part of what makes this milestone feel so real. It’s no longer just me tinkering with design files and writing content; it’s something people can actually interact with, use, and benefit from.
MWP-Design: Slowly but Surely
Now, let’s talk about the big beast in the room: MWP-Design.
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that MWP-Design is the part of the site where you can design your own stuff online—business cards, flyers, mugs, t-shirts, and loads more. It’s a really cool feature because it puts the creative power in your hands.
The good news is that the main MWP-Design pages are already back up. If you pop over to the site, you’ll see that the structure is there. But the not-so-good news is that a lot of the subpages are still missing.
For example: the main “Mugs” page is live, but if you click deeper to look at specific mug products, those pages aren’t ready yet.
Why’s it taking so long? Well, the short answer is: the Designer software is a monster to set up. It’s incredibly powerful, but with that comes complexity. Installing it, configuring it, making sure everything plays nicely with the rest of the site—it’s not a quick job.
Right now, I expect it’ll take until about January before MWP-Design is fully restored. I know that sounds like ages, but honestly, I’d rather take the time to do it properly than rush it and have things break. Once it’s up and running, you’ll have a smooth, creative, fun experience—and that’s worth waiting for.
Product Pages: Filling in the Gaps
Here’s another piece of the puzzle: product pages.
At the moment, you’ll see that some main product categories are there (again, like the “Mugs” page I mentioned). But the detailed pages for each individual product aren’t all finished yet.
That’s a big job, and it’s what I’m focusing on now. The plan is to have these all done by December. When that’s complete, you’ll be able to explore products more thoroughly—see details, images, and everything else you’d expect before hitting “add to cart.”
It’s not glamorous work—it’s a lot of clicking, editing, uploading, checking—but it’s essential. And once it’s done, the whole shopping experience will feel so much smoother.
WELEDA Store: Coming Soon
Another thing I’m really looking forward to is the launch of my WELEDA store.
If you’re not familiar, WELEDA is known for its natural and sustainable products—things that fit beautifully with the values I want Brooled to reflect. Being able to offer my own range of WELEDA products through the site is something I’m genuinely excited about.
The good news? This should be ready by December at the latest. So before the year is out, you’ll be able to browse and shop WELEDA items directly on Brooled.co.uk.
It’s going to be a great addition to the mix and will make the site feel even more complete.
Why This All Matters
You might be wondering: okay, cool, but why make such a big deal out of this milestone?
For me, it’s about progress. When you’re working on a project like this, it can sometimes feel endless. There’s always another bug to fix, another page to finish, another idea to chase. It’s easy to forget how far you’ve come.
That’s why these milestones matter. They’re moments to stop, look around, and say: “Yes, we’re getting there.”
- The design makes the site feel real.
- The store makes it useful.
- MWP-Design will make it interactive.
- The WELEDA shop adds even more value.
Piece by piece, all these things add up to a platform that isn’t just a website, but a proper hub for creativity, shopping, and connection.
Looking Ahead
So what’s next?
- December is my immediate focus: finishing those product pages and launching the WELEDA store.
- January is when I expect to have MWP-Design fully restored and running smoothly.
- After that? Who knows. Websites are never really “done”—they grow, evolve, and (if you’re doing it right) keep getting better.
There are already ideas in my head for new products, more features, and ways to make the site more engaging. But for now, I’m keeping my eyes on the milestones in front of me.
A Personal Note
I’ll be honest: building a site like this is a lot. There are days when it feels amazing and days when it feels overwhelming. But the thing that keeps me going is knowing that people are watching, waiting, and rooting for it to succeed.
Every time someone messages me saying they checked out the site, or they’re excited about the store, or they can’t wait for MWP-Design to come back—it gives me that extra push to keep going.
So thank you. Really. Your support means more than you might realize.
Wrapping Up
To sum it up:
- The website design is basically finished.
- The Brooled.co.uk Store is live and ready.
- MWP-Design is partly back, with the full launch expected in January.
- Product pages are on track to be finished by December.
- The WELEDA store is set to launch before the end of the year.
It’s been a long road, but it’s worth it. This is milestone number two, and I can’t wait to see where milestone number three takes us.
Thanks for following along—and stay tuned, because the best is yet to come.
