Where to apply
  • Pulse points:

    These areas generate more heat, helping to diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. 

    • Wrists 
    • Behind the ears 
    • Base of the throat or collarbone 
    • Inside of the elbows 
    • Behind the knees (especially with a dress) 
  • Hair:

    Spraying your hair can hold the fragrance longer, but don’t spray the alcohol directly into your hair as it can be drying. A good alternative is to spray your hairbrush and then brush your hair. 

  • Clothing:

    You can spray on clothes, especially items like scarves or sweaters, but be mindful of potential staining on delicate fabrics like silk. 

How to apply
  • Moisturize first:

    Apply an unscented moisturizer to your skin before spritzing the perfume. This helps the fragrance last longer. 

  • Spray from a distance:

    Hold the bottle about 15-20 cm away from your skin to create a mist. 

  • Avoid rubbing:

    Do not rub your wrists together after applying. Friction creates heat that can alter the fragrance notes and cause the scent to break down faster. 

  • Don’t overdo it:

    Eau de parfum is often more concentrated, so fewer sprays may be needed than with other types of fragrance. 

What to avoid
  • Applying it to the very top of your chest, as it can get too close to your nose and lead to “nose blindness,” where you stop smelling it altogether. 
  • Spraying directly on freshly shaved skin to avoid potential irritation. 
  • Rubbing your wrists together, as this can damage the scent’s structure.
