A personal story of freedom, trust, and building a truly global business
There are moments in life when the past quietly taps you on the shoulder and says, “It’s time.” This is one of those stories.
I want to share why I joined Forever Living Products as a Forever Business Owner (FBO), not from a brochure, not from hype, but from lived experience, relationships, and a deep desire for independence that goes beyond location, borders, or time zones.
This is not a get-rich-quick tale. It’s a long-view story about values, people, and choosing a business that fits the life I want to live.
A Connection That Started in Utah
My journey with Forever Living Products began long before I ever became an FBO.
While studying at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, I had the rare opportunity to meet Rex Maughan, the founder of Forever Living Products.
Meeting Rex was not a staged moment. It was human, grounded, and surprisingly simple. He was not trying to impress anyone. He didn’t need to. His presence spoke through calm confidence, clarity of vision, and an unmistakable belief in people.
That encounter stayed with me.
Not because I thought, “One day I’ll join this company,” but because I saw something rare: a founder who built a global business without losing his moral compass.
Seeing the Business From the Inside
Later, I had the chance to go deeper.
I visited the Forever Living headquarters in Arizona. I walked the corridors where decisions are made, not in secrecy, but with transparency. I saw a company that wasn’t patchworked together through outsourcing, but vertically integrated from plant to product.
Even more impactful was visiting Aloe of America, Forever’s own aloe plantations and processing facilities. Standing there, surrounded by acres of aloe vera, changes how you think about “health products.”
This was not marketing. This was infrastructure.
Forever doesn’t buy aloe on the open market. They grow it, harvest it, stabilize it, and control quality at every step. That level of ownership is rare, and it matters.
Over time, I also built relationships with members of the Maughan family and people across the organization. These weren’t transactional connections. They were real. Respectful. Long-term.
That foundation of trust is something no compensation plan can replace.
Why I Didn’t Act the First Time
Here’s something I want to be completely honest about.
Rex originally signed me up as a Forever Business Owner in the USA many years ago. I had the opportunity. I had the number. I had the access.
And I did nothing with it.
Life moved. Studies continued. Other priorities took over. Forever remained in the background, quietly waiting. After seven years of inactivity, my FBO number was deleted.
No drama. No pressure. No chasing.
Just a reminder that timing matters.
Christmas, Reflection, and a Clear Question
This past Christmas, I found myself asking a very direct question:
What kind of business do I want to add to my life that truly makes me independent?
Not independent in theory, but in reality.
Independent from:
• a fixed location
• a single country
• one currency
• one market
• one lifestyle template
I want to travel more again. I want to live internationally. I want to work while moving, not pause my income every time I cross a border.
And I want to do that without compromising ethics, quality, or personal values.
When I laid all of that out honestly, one name resurfaced without effort.
Forever.
Why Forever Fits the Life I Want Now
Forever Living Products offers something very few businesses can genuinely deliver:
🌍 A Truly Global Business
Forever operates in over 160 countries. The products, the compensation structure, and the business model are designed to work internationally.
I can:
• build in the USA
• support partners in the UK
• expand into Austria and Germany
• work while traveling
• get paid across borders
This matters deeply to me because these are my home countries, culturally and personally.
⏳ Time and Location Freedom
This is not about working less. It’s about working differently.
Forever allows me to:
• build once and leverage globally
• support partners remotely
• create systems rather than trade hours
• work from anywhere with an internet connection
That alignment with mobility is essential to the life I want to live.
🌱 Products With Substance
I would never build a business around products I don’t trust.
Forever’s aloe vera products are not trend-driven. They are rooted in decades of research, consistency, and controlled quality. People don’t just try them. They reorder them.
That creates real residual potential.
🤝 A Relationship-Based Model
Forever is a people business.
You don’t succeed by pushing products. You succeed by:
• mentoring
• educating
• supporting
• building leaders
That suits me. I care about people. I care about long-term growth, not quick wins.
Why I Rejoined This Year
This year, I signed up again as a Forever Business Owner, intentionally and with clarity.
Not because I was chasing income.
Not because someone convinced me.
But because I’m building the next chapter of my life.
My goal over the coming months is very specific:
👉 To build at least 10 strong business partners
👉 Across USA, UK, Austria, and Germany
👉 With people who value freedom, ethics, and growth
I’m not looking for everyone.
I’m looking for the right people.
Who This Is For (And Who It’s Not)
Forever is not for:
• people looking for overnight success
• people who want passive income without effort
• people who dislike working with others
It is for:
• people who want location freedom
• people who think internationally
• people who want to own, not rent, their income
• people who value health, consistency, and community
If you recognize yourself here, then this may be worth exploring.
A Personal Invitation
I don’t believe in pressure.
I believe in alignment.
If you’ve been thinking about:
• adding a global income stream
• building something portable
• working alongside travel
• creating leverage instead of limitation
Then I invite you to take a look.

Final Thoughts
Some opportunities come loudly.
The right ones return quietly.
Forever has been part of my story for years. Now, it’s part of my future.
If you feel that quiet tap on the shoulder too, maybe it’s time.
